SWIM SEA OF CORTEZ 2010
Track Us Live
Spot allows everyone to track our progress in near real time using Google Maps.
The way this works...
once the swim starts we simply turn on the Spot tracking device, which connected via global GPS, sends an update every ten minutes, so anyone, anywhere can watch our swim.
BREAKING NEWS
“We swam 63.8 nautical miles in 36:57. Nora was seriously attacked by
jellyfish paralyzingly her arm stomach and leg - looked like acid was
poured on her body. Edna was attacked as well not as severe. Paul
had multiple attacks and Monica had to have the Jellyfish pulled of
her face. We could not swim another 40 nautical miles with a
reduction of swimmers in 5 foot seas and 30 knots in our face
basically blinding Monica. The conditions where the toughest I'v ever
been in and each swimmer performed well above all expectations with
more courage than I've ever witnessed.” - Vito Bialla
